Let Nostalgic Motor Cars get your 1963-1985 Avanti radiator recored to a full 3 core The radiator company that will be recoring your radiator has been doing our Avanti radiators for over 40 years. In these 40 years I have never had a problem with their workmanship or the quality of their cores.
When the radiator is returned to you. It’ll have been sand blasted and not painted, as the preparation before painting and quality of the paint is questionable on most new and recored radiators. I recommend painting the steel with POR 15, semi gloss and spray the tanks with a spray can of semi gloss Rustoleum, after the prep of the radiator. I do not paint the core as I’ve been told I could impede the cooling on the radiator I install.
