Avanti Windshield Header Switch Retainer
There was 2 different style windshield header switch retainers. One is for a car with a moon roof, the other is for a car without a moon roof.
This is a ultra RARE NOS windshield header switch retainer (for the overhead switches). This retainer was only installed in 1984 & 1985 Avantis and not installed in 1963 or 1964 Studebakers, 1965-1983 or 1987 and up Avantis. The retainer with 4 switch holes is for the moon roof equipped car. The retainer with 3 switch holes is for a car without a moon roof.
This NOS retainer assy. is complete (no switches) with wire pig tails, light bulbs and sockets. The housing is black aluminum.
If you have dim overhead lights or burned out bulbs, this could solve your problem, the light bulbs are very tiny, and soldered in place. They do not screw or snap in place.
