To find a 1977 Avanti, which is now 45 years old, that only as 22,469 original miles it totally incredibly rare. That’s less than 500 miles per year. This Avanti was owned by the original purchaser family for all those 45 years. It was never driven in bad weather and that shows! It still has the factory original hog troughs, frame and rear cross member which all shows light surface rust, original black paint and etc. No fresh undercoating or black paint covering up what somebody else does not want you to see. No after market replacement hog toughs or patched up frame. It appears to have the original factory pueblo beige poly paint. Which may have been touch up ,over the years, and is just about perfect. The interior is driftwood (dark brown) leather with light tan suede door and quarter panel inserts. The seats also have light tan suede welting (piping). The bottom of both door panels have leather, instead of carpet. This is a very unusual and adds that customer touch. The original build sheet states “make front seats as soft as possible” The engine is the corvette 350 V-8, with a GM 400 auto trans, original moon roof (which does not leak) P.S, A/C (converted to 134A), electric windows, sun band windshield, tinted side glass, Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo, right fixed outside mirror, driving lights, electric trunk release, rear deicer and magnum 500 wheels The 2nd family member had an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and Edelbrock carb installed. He also had a MSD ignition and distributor installed these upgrades cost him over $3000.00 The overall condition of this 1977 Avanti is absolutely incredible and is probably the most original, and correct 1977 on the planet. I doubt that you will ever have another chance to purchase and Avanti in this pristine original condition and with only 22,469 miles on the clock and owned by one family.
