Recaro front seats, wood dash & console, tilt, cruise (don’t know if it works) a/c needs to be charged. Electric windows and door locks, left and right factory chrome mirrors, aluminum aftermarket 7” x 15” wheels, 4 new tires, 700 R4 auto overdrive transmissions, P.S., P.D.B., moon roof, which will have to be eliminated. I will include an N.O.S. roof skin, part #1350250 valued at $600.00 with purchase of this Avanti. I wrote an article for the Avanti Magazine on how to eliminate the moon roof . See the article on our web site NostalgicMotorCars.net Nardi steering wheel (which needs to be refinished). The odometer shows 116,480 miles. The original 305-v-8 155 H.P. is gone and has been replaced with a new GM Crate 350 motor with about 7000 miles on it. GM Rated this 350 crate motor@290-300 H.P. Runs like a top, lots of new parts have been put on this Avanti over the last few years. Which includes new brakes, new exhaust, new carpet. The customer I purchased it from owned it for about 8 years. The most important aspect, other than the new GM 290HP 350 is the underside. This must have been a souther car or western car as the underside is absolutely fantastic. No replacement aftermarket hog troughs or rusted hog troughs. The frame is also without rust. It’s had in it’s life a coating like Ziebart, applied to the underside. Not to cover up major rust problem, like others do, but more to preserve it from rust. When an Avanti’s underside is this clean, it is in the top 5% of Avantis, which makes it quite rare. It’s had a repaint, probably 20-25 years ago. The paint does have checking, all over the car, that’s to be expected with age and a fiberglass body.
An EXCELLENT Buy at $23,950 with an undercarriage that is this original and clean.
This Avanti is in the top 5% of all the Avantis in the world.
