If the Raymond Loewy Limited Edition Portfolio has always eluded you, it can be frustrating, after all they only created 1000 of those signed (by lowey’s own hand) numbered portfolio since 1975.
These individual prints are over runs of the prints, for the portfolio. They had the over runs as a safety net, as Raymond Loewy and the Bleifeld Group didn’t want anything but the best possible prints for the 1000 portfolios. All the prints went through the four complete print proofing. Only this group of superb prints were ready for Loewy to sign, though these never got signed. The Bleifeld Group held the over runs in case some got damaged in shipment. The less than superb group (rejects) surfaced a few years back, and were sold by others.
These are not copies, or rejects, like others have sold, but the real deal. They have been in their original packaging, since 1974. Prints Measure 17” x 22”
You will be receiving all 4 of these prints, the same superb art work by Van Dyan from the portfolio, just not numbered or signed by Loewy, for less money.
